Daniel Gilbert is a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon, and has been designated as Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), a business valuation designation of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
His litigation consulting expertise includes court testimony, marital dissolution, complex damage analysis, lost profits, business interruption, as well as financial statement forensic analysis. Dan’s extensive business valuation related experience cuts across multiple industries, including intangible asset valuations. These assignments have been carried out for purposes of shareholder disputes, marital dissolution, gift and estate tax planning, litigation, acquisition/divestiture, and re-capitalization.
Dan is unique in the valuation profession. Complementing his experience and education in business valuation and litigation support, he has decades of experience in the private business sector, which included buying and selling multiple businesses. Through the course of his career, Dan has led finance teams at public and privately held companies within various industries from offshore manufacturing to local high-tech.
